General Motors tied for first in the 2021 AutoPacific Vehicle Satisfaction Awards. Chevrolet’s Blazer, Camaro, and Colorado took top honors in their classes.
GM among most satisfying brands
Customers ranked GM vehicles as the most satisfying of the popular brands. Chevrolet’s midsize Blazer SUV, sporty Camaro, and compact Colorado pickup truck were all chosen best in their class by customers who were surveyed on 36 different attributes. AutoPacific looks at how satisfied people are with the way a vehicle drives, how comfortable it is, the interior amenities, and other attributes.
Category winners
For several years, customers have been most satisfied with SUVs and crossovers, and 2021 is no exception. The Chevy Blazer was chosen as the best Premium Mid-Size Crossover SUV with top scores in 25 of the 36 categories. Blazer scored high in sport styling, comfort, easy to use controls, and ease of getting in and out, among others.
The Camaro took first place in the Sporty Car category with 29 out of 36 attributes including brand reputation, exterior styling, paint color choices, and more. The Colorado was named Best Compact Pickup with owners ranking it first in 23 out of the 36 survey categories. Owners praised the Colorado’s handling, design, interior intuitiveness, and the infotainment touchscreen.
