Community sports programs are a big deal here, too, with activities available for all ages.

Madison’s charming historic downtown is one of our favorite perks of living here. Whether you prefer browsing for antiques, touring art galleries, or eating at top-notch restaurants, you’re guaranteed to have a good time whenever you come out to support our local businesses.

Downtown is also the focal point for special events in Madison — and we sure do love our festivals here! The Madison Regatta is our most famous event, but there’s also River Roots, Spring Old Court Days, Madison Ribberfest, the Christmas Parade, Fourth Fridays … the list goes on and on.

If you like getting away for an occasional taste of big-city life, Madison is the perfect place to live. We’re only about an hour drive from Louisville and Cincinnati, and just two hours from Indianapolis.
