There’s a lot to love about the 2023 Chevrolet Colorado, from its redesigned rugged styling to its industry-leading technology. But what may appeal most to hard workers and outdoor hobbyists here in Madison is probably the truck’s abundance of utility enhancements. Here’s a look at the 2023 Colorado top features for top-notch utility.

Tie-downs aplenty
It never seems like you have enough stakes on the truck bed to anchor your cargo straps … unless you drive the 2023 Colorado! It offers a whopping 17 tie-down points, which is more than any other truck in its class.

Lockable tailgate storage
Here’s a utility feature you won’t find on any of the Colorado’s competitors: a lockable, waterproof storage nook that’s built into the truck’s tailgate. This optional, class-exclusive upgrade makes storing your power tools and small items much easier.

Top-tier towing
Yet another thing that the Colorado does best in its class is its towing capability. GM estimates that the 2023 Colorado can tow a maximum 7,700 pounds with the 2.7L Turbo Plus engine and Advanced Trailering Package.

Measuring up
Did you leave your yard stick or tape measure at home? The 2023 Colorado has a convenient ruler stamped onto its tailgate you can quickly measure items like rope and lumber.

Trust the strength and utility of the 2023 Colorado for all your work needs in Madison, Indiana. You can find the newest Chevrolet trucks for sale here at Chandler Chevrolet.

Jump-starting a car may seem difficult and dangerous, but it’s something easy enough for anyone to do — as long as you follow directions. If you do it incorrectly, you could severely damage your Chevrolet and injure yourself. That’s why we at Chandler Chevrolet want to make sure you jump-start your car properly.

Gather your Tools
You’ll need gloves, jumper cables, a flashlight (if it’s nighttime), and another car or rechargeable jumper pack that can provide the juice.

Prepare the Vehicles
Position the cars so that the front ends are almost touching. Then, turn off the engines and open the hoods.

Attach the Cables
This is the most crucial step, so pay attention. Connect the cables in the following order:
1. Red clamp to positive terminal of dead battery
2. Red clamp to positive terminal of working battery
3. Black clamp to negative terminal of working battery
4. Black clamp to unpainted metal surface under the hood of the car with the dead battery (NOT the battery itself!)

Run the Engine
Let the working car’s engine run a few minutes to give your dead battery some juice. Then, try starting your car after 5-10 minutes.

Remove the Cables
If your car starts, you can remove the jumper cables. Follow the same process listed above but in reverse order. That means start by removing the black clamp from the metal and ending with detaching the red clamp from the dead battery.

Having to jump-start your car means the battery is nearly dead and doesn’t have enough charge to start the engine. If this happens to you near Madison, Indiana, bring your Chevy to the Chandler Chevrolet service department immediately, and we’ll get you a fully charged new battery.

Beat The Heat

In case of a breakdown on a sweltering day, make sure your kit includes items to help you beat the heat. Pack a gallon of water per person, a reflective blanket to block the sun, and sunscreen to prevent burns. And no matter what time of year it is, a first aid kit for your vehicle is a must.

Be Seen

If you’re stranded on the side of the road, the experience will be safer if you have tools to boost visibility. Flares and reflective triangles will help other drivers or emergency responders see your vehicle. You should also have a flashlight for signaling after dark or seeing your surroundings more clearly.

Stay Equipped

Having the right tools and devices with you will help reduce the stress of a summer road emergency. Jumper cables, tire sealant, and a basic tool kit are sure to come in handy. You’ll also want to have a spare phone charger stashed away just in case.
You can also prepare for summer emergencies by preventing them from happening in the first place! The best way to do this is with a service appointment here at Chandler Chevrolet in Madison, Indiana.

With the recent spike in gas prices, filling up your vehicle is almost certainly taking up a bigger chunk of your budget. There’s not much you can do about the cost of fuel — but there is still hope! Here are some tips you can follow to save money and make each gas purchase last a little longer.

Ease up on the accelerator and brakes
The harder you accelerate and brake, the more gas you use. Instead of sharp, irregular stops and starts, strive to drive smoothly and pay attention to traffic patterns ahead of you. It’s sure to improve your fuel efficiency!

Follow the speed limit
When you break the speed limit, you’re costing yourself money — even if you don’t get pulled over and ticketed. The faster you drive, the worse your gas mileage gets. Slowing down to the posted speed, especially while cruising on the highway, is one of the easiest ways to improve your vehicle’s fuel economy.

Download a gas price app
Sometimes gas prices can vary quite a bit even from block to block or street to street. Downloading a gas price app for your smartphone makes it easy to find the stations with your area’s best prices, helping you save a few dollars each time you need to fill up.

If your vehicle is gulping gas, another way you can save money is with a new model that gets better gas mileage. Visit us here at Chandler Chevrolet in Madison, Indiana, to learn how you can get behind the wheel of a fuel-efficient Chevy like the Equinox, the Trailblazer, or the Bolt EUV.

If you’re looking to buy a vehicle and have a tighter budget, a new Chevrolet is right on the money. You’ll get great options, reliable quality, and tons of bang for your buck.

The most obvious advantage to purchasing a used Chevrolet over a new car is money. A pre-owned vehicle has already undergone a big chunk of its depreciation — when a vehicle loses value because it’s been driven. That means that even if there are only a few thousand or even hundred miles on the odometer, you can save hundreds or even thousands of dollars over the cost of a new vehicle.

And nowadays, auto manufacturers offer Certified Pre-Owned programs, which often include rigorous inspections, reconditioning, and limited warranties — so you can be confident in your new-to-you vehicle.

The Chevrolet Certified Pre-Owned program, for example, ensures that your pre-owned Silverado, Equinox, or Trax are fully vetted to meet manufacturer-certified standards. The same features you love on the newest model can often be found on a vehicle that’s a couple of years old.

From the five-star-safety rated Equinox[1] to the award-winning Silverado,[2] you’ll drive away with peace of mind and a happy wallet when choosing Certified Pre-Owned at Chandler Chevrolet in Madison, Indiana.

With more power, unique styling, and plenty of customization options, the 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is truly the next step in the evolution of the C8 Corvette.

The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is distinct from the Stingray in a number of ways. The Z06 sports a wider stance, exclusive fascias, a unique, reconfigurable rear spoiler that’s tailored to improve cornering, and plenty of aerodynamic carbon-fiber accessories.

But that’s not all — it offers plenty of ways for you to customize your Corvette. You’ll be able to choose from a dozen dazzling exterior color choices, as well as six brake caliper color options, seven interior color schemes, and a wide variety of accents for the seatbelt, trim, and wheels.

Steve Hill, vice president of Chevrolet, explained that the latest Corvette was created with sports car enthusiasts in mind. “This new Z06 was designed and engineered to set a higher bar with increased levels of craftsmanship, personalization and performance so customers can truly have their own bespoke performance car,” he stated.

But the kicker? The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 sports a flat-plane engine that’s that most powerful naturally aspirated V8 going. Putting down an amazing 670 horsepower, this V8 allows the Z06 to sprint from 0-60 mph in just 2.6 seconds.[1]

The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 will become available during the summer of 2022. Want to get behind the wheel of your dream car? Contact Chandler Chevrolet in Madison, Indiana, today for details on pre-ordering the 2023 Corvette Z06.
